A leading media data company sought to democratise its audience configuration process. Traditionally, defining segments such as “young hipsters in London” required trained analysts, complex manual filtering, and days of iteration ...a bottleneck that limited scalability and transparency.

Audience configuration was slow, opaque, and inaccessible to non-technical users. Translating abstract briefs into data-driven criteria demanded specialist intervention, delaying activation and reducing agility for advertisers and agencies.
Passion Labs partnered with a leading adtech firm to design and deliver the AI Audience Configuration System, leveraging our orchestration engine and AI reasoning framework. Through a discovery and prototyping phase, we mapped the manual workflow, modelled its decision logic, and built a conversational interface that mirrors human expertise step by step.
Non-technical users can now configure audiences by simply typing prompts like “millennial families with young children in Manchester”. The AI interprets purchase, demographic, and geographic intent — showing its reasoning, offering corrections, and returning real-time audience insights.
This AI-enabled platform repositioned the client as an innovation leader, making advanced audience configuration truly self-serve and future-ready.
